Understanding units in FalconNet

Learn how unit assignments organize people, accountability, approvals, and reporting.

A unit represents the organizational group a FalconNet user belongs to or is authorized to support. Unit assignments connect people to the correct accountability structure, approval chain, inspections, and analytics.

How units are used

1

Route requests to the correct reviewers and approval chain.

2

Group accountability and location information under the appropriate leadership.

3

Assign inspection or evaluation events to the intended population.

4

Scope reports and analytics to authorized organizational levels.

Roles and units work together

Your role describes what you may do; your unit describes where that authority applies. Two users can have the same role but access different records because they are assigned to different units.

If your unit is incorrect, report it before submitting or approving records so information is not routed to the wrong organization.
