Understanding roles in FalconNet

Learn how roles determine the actions, screens, and information available to each user.

A role is the set of permissions assigned to a FalconNet user. Roles make sure each person can complete the work required by their position while protecting information and actions they do not need.

What a role controls

1

Which modules, dashboards, and administrative screens you can open.

2

Which actions you can take, such as submitting, reviewing, approving, grading, or managing.

3

Which records you can see based on your responsibilities and unit assignment.

Common role patterns

Cadet users generally manage their own requests and information. Leadership and evaluator roles may review or act on records for an authorized group. Administrative roles configure specific workflows and should be assigned only when required.

If a capability is missing or you can see something unexpected, do not work around it. Contact FalconNet support or your chain of command so the assignment can be reviewed.
