Put a cadet on pass probation

Stop monthly pass accrual and prevent pass sign-out by setting both probation controls.

Only Permanent Party personnel have the ability to place another cadet on probation or restrict their pass access.

1. Open Unit Management

From the FalconNet home page, open Unit Management for the unit containing the cadet.

Open Unit Management for the correct unit.

2. Find the cadet

In Unit Members, search for the cadet, verify the result, and open the cadet's profile.

Search for and open the correct cadet.

3. Open Cadet Data

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the cadet's profile until you reach Cadet Data.

4. Set both probation controls

1

Turn Probation Status on. The supporting text should say the user will not accrue passes.

2

Turn Individual Pass Status off so the cadet cannot sign out using existing passes.

3

Verify Probation Status is on and Individual Pass Status is off before leaving the profile.

Probation requires Probation Status ON and Individual Pass Status OFF.

Simply enabling Probation Status does not restrict pass sign-out. The cadet can still use existing passes while Individual Pass Status remains enabled. Turn Individual Pass Status off to restrict them.

Probation Status controls pass accrual. While it is enabled, FalconNet does not award the cadet the monthly allotment of passes based on their class year.
