New cadet FalconNet setup

Set up your FalconNet account, confirm your USAFA sign-in, and add an accurate phone number.

Welcome to a new chapter

Welcome to the United States Air Force Academy and FalconNet. FalconNet is a cross-platform application built by cadets to support passes, unit assignments, the leave locator, the daily Cadet Wing schedule, AMIs and SAMIs, and other day-to-day Cadet Wing functions.

Set aside a few uninterrupted minutes for your first sign-in. You may be redirected several times while USAFA and Microsoft verify your account; this is expected.

1. Open FalconNet

In a modern web browser, navigate to falconnet.us. Allow the sign-in process to redirect you until the USAFA or Microsoft account page appears.

2. Sign in with your cadet account

Sign in with your USAFA cadet email address and password. For the Class of 2030, confirm that the account shown is your cadet address beginning with c30 and ending in @afacademy.af.edu. If the wrong account appears, choose Use a different account and enter the correct cadet credentials.

If the page says Let's keep your account secure, verify that the displayed account is your cadet email, then select Next.

Confirm that the page shows your own c30 cadet account, then select Next. The example email is hidden for privacy.

Use only your own USAFA cadet account. Never share your password or approval codes, and do not continue if the page shows someone else's account.

3. Complete or defer Microsoft Authenticator setup

Microsoft may ask you to install and configure Microsoft Authenticator if your account does not already have it. You may complete the setup now and select Next, or select Skip setup if that option is available and finish the required security setup later.

Complete Authenticator setup and continue, or use Skip setup when USAFA provides that option.

If you choose Skip setup, the prompt may return later. Follow current USAFA account-security requirements when you are directed to finish enrollment.

4. Wait for FalconNet to load

After authentication, your browser may redirect several more times. Keep the tab open until the main FalconNet page loads and displays the home screen. This confirms that your account can access FalconNet.

From the main page, select Profile in the navigation menu.

Once the FalconNet home screen appears, open Profile.

5. Add and save your phone number

In Profile, enter your current phone number and select Save. Check every digit before saving. FalconNet relies on accurate user information, and an incorrect number can create contact, accountability, or operational problems.

Enter an accurate phone number, verify it, and select Save. The example number is hidden for privacy.

Do not guess your phone number. If you do not know it or cannot verify it, skip this step and return as soon as you have the correct number.

Setup complete

Once the FalconNet home page loads and any phone number you entered has been saved, your initial FalconNet setup is complete. Welcome to FalconNet—you can safely close the browser tab.
