You must already have Unit Management access for the unit whose permissions you are assigning. Grant only the access the person needs, and verify the unit and dates before saving.
1. Open the unit you manage
From the FalconNet home screen, open Unit Management for the unit where the person needs permissions.
2. Find the person
In Unit Members, search for the person by name and select the correct result.
3. Start a Role Assignment
On the person's profile, scroll to Role Assignments and select its plus (+) button. Do not select the plus beside Unit Assignments—unit membership and role permissions are different.
4. Choose the role and users
Select the Role field, then choose Unit Management. The person whose profile you opened appears under Users to Add.
You can assign the same permission to multiple people at one time. Use the search control to add more people. Everyone under Users to Add receives the same role, unit, View-Only setting, and dates.
5. Select the permission scope
Select Unit, then choose the exact organization this person should manage. Select a parent unit for unit-wide access, or a sub-unit only when the permission should be limited to that sub-unit.
6. Set access and dates, then save
Turn View-Only on if the person should be able to see Unit Management information without making changes. Leave it off only when the person needs to manage the unit.
Set Assignment Start to Now or the approved future start date. A future assignment remains upcoming until FalconNet activates it on that date.
Set Assignment End to the date or period when the permission should expire. Avoid granting indefinite access unless it is required.
Review the role, unit, View-Only setting, dates, and every person under Users to Add. Remove any unintended user with the red delete icon.
Select Save in the upper-right corner.
