You must have Unit Management access for the applicable unit. Give access only to the event types the person is authorized to manage.
1. Open the unit and find the person
From Roles, open Unit Management for the unit where the person needs accountability permissions.
In Unit Members, search for the person's name and open the correct profile.
Select the plus (+) beside Role Assignments. Do not use the plus beside Unit Assignments.
2. Choose Accountability
Select the Role field and choose Accountability. The selected person appears under Users to Add.
To give the same access to several people, search for and add each person. All users listed receive the same unit, event permissions, View-Only setting, and dates.
3. Select the unit and event permissions
Select the exact Unit where the person will take accountability. Choose the appropriate parent unit for unit-wide access, or an authorized sub-unit for narrower access. Then select only the Events the person is authorized to take accountability for; a selected event displays a check mark.
4. Set access and dates, then save
Turn View-Only on when the person should only see accountability information. Leave it off when the person must record or change event accountability.
Review the event list and select only the events this person should manage.
Choose the approved Assignment Start and Assignment End. Future access activates automatically on its start date.
Confirm every person under Users to Add. Remove an unintended person with the red delete icon.
Select Save. If Save is unavailable, confirm that at least one event is selected and every required field is complete.
